Part of a year long trip from Sept ’94 - Sept ’95 through 36 USA States and 2 Canadian Provinces by Jean and Graham Beven in ‘Serendipity’ their 30 foot Winnebago Chieftain.

Missouri - Round trip USA

We virtually 'passed through' the state of Missouri, USA as there was only Branson, Missouri on our must see list of places to visit.

There are however five National Wildlife Refuges, five National Parks and ---- State Parks in the state of Missouri.

5th August 1995 From Ankeny, Iowa. to Sedalia, Missouri. A driving day. When we stopped for lunch in a park we saw a family of Racoon's. Mum, Dad and five little ones.

6th From Sedalia, Missouri to West Plains, Missouri via Branson, Missouri . Mainly a driving day 266 miles. Arrived in Branson, MO. at 2.30pm just in time to catch a show at the Charley Pride Theatre – Starring Don Williams – the country and western singer – he was great. The interaction with the audience was superb. The road out of Branson, MO. can only be described as a roller coaster! Overnight in West Plains.

7th From West Plains, MO. to Paducah, Kentucky.
