12th To Waynesville, North Carolina. to join the Blue Ridge Parkway. This will take us up through North Carolina to Virginia.

The parkway follows the Appalachian Mountains and gives you endless views of parallel hill and mountain ranges. The parkway is just under 470 miles long and links two national parks - Great Smoky Mountains and Shenandoah. The 'fall colours' were just coming in as we started our journey up the parkway getting better the further north we travelled. Blue Ridge Parkway
