Part of the year long trip from Sept ’94 - Sept ’95 through 36 USA States and 2 Canadian Provinces by Jean and Graham Beven in 'Serendipity' their 30 foot Winnebago 'Chieftain'.

North Dakota - Round Trip USA

We only literally 'passed through' the state of North Dakota, USA as there was nothing on our must see list of places to visit.

There are however twenty one National Wildlife Refuges, three National Parks and ---- State Parks in the state of North Dakota.

28th July Arrived at Spirit Lake, North Dakota. Bought a visitors fishing licence and took the boat out on the lake. First day we caught 21 Bull Head, Catfish. Yummy! Second day nothing! Third day caught mainly Perch (nice as battered fillets). Graham had an opportunity to go out trolling on a boat for muskies – a type of pike like like a zander. Only caught perch though (18). A good cook up and some for the freezer!

4th August left Spirit Lake, ND. moved to Ankeny, Iowa.
