ResumePart of the year long trip from Sept ’94 - Sept ’95 through 36 USA States and 2 Canadian Provinces by Jean and Graham Beven in 'Serendipity' their 30 foot Winnebago 'Chieftain'. We still think this was the best year of our life even ten years on! The actual cost including the purchase of the motor home was about £32,000 (in 1994). That was less than £2670 pcm for two people or £44.50p each per day! That included everything; clothes, tools, food, entertainment the lot! Most of the people we met were great; friendly, helpful and welcoming. The places we went and the things we saw will be permanently embedded in our brains till the day we die. This was a true adventure, not entered into lightly but so rewarding and life changing. We would do it again - for sure!
